Corporate Social Responsibility
Running a business isn’t really that complicated. If you conduct market research, gain insight into what customers want, and then meet those needs at a low price, you can generate revenue. The harder part is standing out from the crowd and creating real added value.
SERIS has signed the CSR statement issued by the Dutch Security Industry. The underlying principle is that we conduct our business in a socially responsible manner. If our sole focus is on price and revenue, it is difficult to maintain that we are operating in a socially responsible way. Therefore, SERIS has decided to make things difficult for itself—with a smile and the necessary investment.
SERIS (Re)certification
The past few weeks have been dominated by our annual external audits. As always, an experienced and dedicated auditor from the Dutch Certification Institute (NCI) thoroughly scrutinized our business practices in a constructive and informative manner. This was assessed against the standard requirements from:
ISO 9001- ISO 14001
- ISO 45001
- Security Certification
ISO 9001We have also assessed the key elements of ISO 27001 that we have incorporated into our ISO 9001 system. We did this because we believe it would be irresponsible, given the current threats, not to include information security in the overall management system.
We are proud to announce that we have been (re)certified for all of the standards listed.
Integrated management system
Compliance with standards and requirements involves not only working in accordance with these requirements, but also maintaining the documentation that we can all rely on. This documentation forms the core of our Integrated Management System (IMS).
To quote a well-known saying: “Here we have said what we do, and now we are doing what we have said.”
